Our 10 days in the glorious island of Mahé, came to a close with the AFS Festival held in Victoria, Seychelles. This 5th concert closed a circle started at DELPLACE restaurant 7 days earlier, where French cuisine and beautiful “art de vivre” were also on show. It was a perfect end to a perfect 10 days in the most beautiful tropical destination in the Indian Ocean islands region.
A Festival that ended late in the night of this Friday evening after a concert that lasted 2 hours and during which, for the very first time in the 13 years of our solo career, we did not perform any song in English. After all, we were celebrating “Francophonie” and the French language all around the World. So, we only performed songs in French & Creole… Another first in Seychelles ! We ended our set with a song that pretty much perfectly summed up the day and why we were invited to perform in the Seychelles. “Paris Seychelles” indeed…
